Synopsis

In late 1960s Chicago, FBI informant William O’Neal (LaKeith Stanfield) infiltrates the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party, drawn into the orbit of its charismatic chairman, Fred Hampton (Daniel Kaluuya). As he rises through the ranks, O’Neal is caught between loyalty to his FBI handler and his growing admiration for Hampton’s powerful oratory and vision for social change. Shaka King's gripping historical drama captures the tension and tragedy of a turbulent period, exploring the complex intersections of race, power, and betrayal. With an Oscar-winning performance from Daniel Kaluuya, this is a compelling and urgent portrayal of a movement under siege.
