BAFTA Wins for CFF43 Alumni


We are thrilled to congratulate the teams behind several incredible films showcased during last October’s 43rd Cambridge Film Festival (#CFF43), all of which have gone on to win prestigious awards at the 78th British Academy Film Awards, held on 16 February 2025.

Wander to Wonder

Award: British Short Animation

Synopsis: Directed by Nina Gantz, this Dutch animated short film follows three miniature actors from an '80s children's TV series who, after their creator's death, continue producing increasingly strange episodes in an abandoned studio.


Rock, Paper, Scissors

Award: British Short Film

Synopsis: This intense and unnerving short film, based on a true story, portrays the harrowing experience of Ivan, who assists his father in a life-threatening situation, highlighting themes of survival and moral dilemmas.
