Expanded CFF role for Abigail Pollock
Having confirmed the appointments of Elle Haywood and Savina Petkova to roles with the CFF41 programming panel, the latest exciting addition to the team is Abigail Pollock.
Abigail has added Submissions Coordinator and Short Film Programmer to her existing responsibilities as our Youth Lab lead.
Those of you who know the Festival well will have met Abigail at some point as she has been involved in CFF for a number of years, starting as a volunteer, progressing to an internship and then in 2021 taking on the vital work of leading the expanded Youth Lab.
We are thrilled to able to support her career progression in Cambridge and know that Abigail's commitment to the Festival and passion for film will shine through her work as she moves into a vital programming role with us.
On her new position...
I am truly delighted to take on the role of Submissions Coordinator and Shorts Programmer, alongside my Youth Lab commitments. Being in a position to witness such diverse films, from an array of international artists, is a true honour and I am animated to showcase a continued range of excellent cinema at the 41st Festival!
On continuing her role with the Youth Lab...
Leading the participants from the Youth Lab is a complete privilege and it's an honour to witness their skills and confidence develop. We welcome a diverse group of young people who are keen to evolve their film knowledge and opinions within a professional and established environment.
